How to install & backtest (3 minutes)
  1. Unzip the file. Inside you'll find the .ex5 robot and a README.
  2. Open MetaTrader 5 → menu File → Open Data Folder
  3. Navigate to MQL5/Experts/ and drop the .ex5 inside
  4. In MT5 press Ctrl+N to refresh the Navigator
  5. Open View → Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R)
  6. Pick the EA, set symbol XAUUSD (or USDJPY for ORB), period M30, dates 2020.01.01 → today
  7. Click Start and compare the results with the numbers above ↑

Tip: for Gold Fusion, make sure XAUUSD M1 history is downloaded so all strategies trade correctly.

How they work

Jara Gold Fusion

XAUUSD · multi-strategy

Runs four independent gold strategies at the same time, each with its own risk setting. Diversifying across different setups smooths the equity curve versus relying on a single approach. A built-in on-chart panel shows live per-strategy stats and the combined total.

JARA ORB

XAUUSD or USDJPY · breakout

Watches the opening range of each session. When the range closes it places two pending stop orders — one above the high, one below the low. Whichever fills first wins; the other is cancelled. Positions close at session end. Choose gold or yen per chart.

Why run both?

FAQ

Is this really free?
Yes — both EAs are free to clients who open broker accounts through my partner links. I earn an introducing broker commission from the broker when you trade, not from you. You pay nothing extra.
Can I get both EAs?
Yes, and it's recommended. One authorization covers you — just select "Both" on the form and I'll send you both robots, each authorized for your account. Run Gold Fusion on XAUUSD and JARA ORB on USDJPY for a diversified two-market portfolio.
Can I use it on an existing broker account?
Yes, in two ways. If your account is already under my IB at IC Trading, IC Markets Global, Roboforex, or BlackBull Markets, just submit it. And if you already have an account at one of these brokers but under a different introducing broker (or none), you can usually ask the broker's support to move it under my IB — no need to open a new account or move your funds. Once it's transferred, submit the number and I'll authorize it.
Does it work on prop firm accounts?
Currently only authorized live or demo accounts at partnered retail brokers.
Can I backtest before applying?
Yes — download the EA above and run it in Strategy Tester immediately. No authorization needed for backtesting. Only live and demo trading require an authorized account.
Do I need a VPS?
Strongly recommended. The EA needs your terminal running 24/7 to monitor sessions and place orders. See my VPS guide.
What if I close my broker account?
The EA stops working on that account number. Open a new authorized account, submit the new number, and I'll send you an updated version.
